For the second focal plane reticle (SFP), the size of the reticle does not change as the magnification is changed. Only the target is zoomed. Therefore, the angle indicated by the scale changes with each magnification. For example, a 20 MOA scale at 10x becomes 40 MOA at 5x and 10 MOA at 20x. The reticle does not become thicker even at high magnification, making it suitable for precision shooting.
